We had gone to two other voice teachers before we found this place! From the moment we called we were blown away by their phenomenal customer service. Kate made it so easy to sign up, and on the day of our first trial class she welcomed us with open arms, made us feel welcomed, and was very knowledgeable making the process so easy. Even when we sat and waited for our daughter she talked with us and answered all of our questions. We have now been there for over two months and we look forward to seeing her smiling face every week and catching up with her. She knows her stuff!
We are also very happy we found Ashley who teaches voice, and soon to be piano as well, to our daughter! She is so incredibly talented, kind, and patient and we have seen such a vast improvement with our daughter’s singing and overall confidence in just the short time we’ve been there. We started with 30 min classes and our daughter loved it so much and begged for more time that we are increasing classes. We cannot recommend this place enough! We love it here!

Excellent music school with extremely helpful teachers and staff! I've been taking drum lessons with Tommy for a year and vocal lessons with Celine for about 6 months. Both are incredibly skilled and passionate teachers whose lessons are very rewarding. I’ve grown so much as a musician thanks to their guidance. Highly recommend them both to anyone looking to improve their skills!

Great place for music instruction. Great staff. Comfortable environment for both children and their parents. You can learn guitar, piano and many more instruments. Highly recommend this place.
OSM has been a great place for my little ones to learn music. We have had amazing teachers. For piano Florentina and Artemis and for guitar Carlos O. My 2 daughters have competed multiple times in state music competitions with superior results. But a big shout out to Carlos O. I asked him recently if he can help my 9 year old with a new song to compete at the OCPS Talent Show. They had just 2 months to play the song, learn the lyrics and do both signing and playing. Carlos O was so willing to do so. He was very enthusiastic and kept my daughter motivated. Thanks to his support, she was able to play her music piece and be selected among 200+ music acts as a Rising Star. She will be performing her solo at the Dr Phyllis Center. We couldn’t be grateful enough for his work and support on helping my little one to succeed at a very young age. My whole family will remember this forever.
Orlando School of Music on Colonial is a local business I am happy to support. I have three children currently enrolled. My oldest is learning drums with Tommy D. Tommy D is skilled and patient and has really inspired my oldest. Nobody knows drums like Tommy D, who spent many years in New York learning his craft, and he has taught my oldest so many different grooves and fills. My middle takes piano and has had a number of great instructors but our favorite is her current teacher Joe G who has taught her so much and has a special talent for bringing out the best in her. The multi talented Joe G teaches both piano and guitar and my middle has learned quickly from him. The highlight of our experience at the School has been when Tommy D and Joe G started teaching my oldest and middle songs together. They brought in another guitar student from the school and helped them form a rock band. My children have never been more inspired and willing to practice and I am grateful to Joe G and Tommy D for having this vision, for seeing my children’s potential and for bringing this to fruition. My youngest child just started guitar with Carlos O. Carlos O is truly the perfect fit for my youngest and I can’t believe how quickly he’s picking guitar up. High recommend for Tommy D as a drums teacher, Joe G for piano or guitar and to Carlos O for guitar. Finally I need to give a shout out to Vanessa at the front desk for her excellent customer service and organization and to the owners and management for supporting the vision that Joe G and Tommy D have for the fledgling rock band program. I predict that with a little patience it will spread by word of mouth and be a great success.
My son takes drum lessons with Tommy and he is learning so much. He loves coming to his drum lessons. Tommy is an awesome teacher. He's very knowledgeable on drums and gives great lessons. We are so glad to have him as our son's teacher!
