At age 6, Rosa began her piano studies and by age 12, wrote her first composition. At age 14, she received a full scholarship to further her studies in Europe (Italy, France, Portugal and Spain) with well-known teachers, such as Magdalena Tagliaferro and Guiomar Novaes, among others.

As a soloist, she performed at the Municipal Theatre of Sao Paulo, Leopoldo Froes Theatre of Sao Paulo, Sala Schwartzman, and other music halls. During this time she earned first place in numerous contests of the Drama and Musical Conservatory of Sao Paulo. For 9 years she also studied at this same conservatory graduating in piano and complementary subjects and earned her diploma as a teacher. Her passion for music didn’t stop her from continuing to acquire more knowledge and during the next four years, she studied Bach and Beethoven with Dr. Kauffman and received her specialization on these composers.

Following these years of study, Rosa continued her learning at the University Vila Lobos, Choral Education, including Orf Method. Upon completion, she earned her Masters degree and was able to teach at University Marcelo Tupinamba from 1991-1997. Rosa has also taught music seminars for seniors and conducted chorus and choral classes in public schools. Rosa has been teaching in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), New York, Tallahassee, and Orlando. Living in Orlando, Rosa brings her varied experience and music knowledge to your student.
